WHY SHOULD I USE A NAIL OIL ON MY TOENAILS?
Oils are extremely useful for combating dry toenails and skin, restoring its proper texture and keeping the tissue healthy and vital. Under the enormous strain of our busy lives and stressful work situations, the toes skin and nails natural oils may fail to do their job in keeping the toenails healthy. HOW DO I KNOW WHAT NAIL CONDITION I HAVE?
Podiatrists, GP's and Dermatologist's are experts in nail and skin care. They can sometimes visually diagnose a condition, however, it is always advised for definite diagnosis to get the nails tested in a pathology laboratory. This will confirm fungal infections or allow for differential diagnosis.
HOW SOON CAN I SEE RESULTS FROM THE OIL?
Results will vary from person to person. Toenails grown an average of 1mm a month and take between 12-18 months to grow out. There are a lot of factors affecting toe nail growth such as age, activity level, footwear, systemic disease, nutrition etc
IS YOUR PRODUCT MADE IN AUSTRALIA?
Yes. It is formulated and manufactured in a factory in NSW using natural Australian products.
IS IT SAFE TO USE WHILE PREGNANT?
All the oils are naturally derived. No added preservatives or harmful chemicals however due to the unique blend of essential oils, this can sometimes cause skin sensitivity. It is recommended to do a patch test before commencing use. It is also advised to check with your GP before commencing any treatments while pregnant.
IS IT DIABETIC FRIENDLY?
Yes. In fact I encourage all Diabetics to use oils to prevent their toenails and skin from damage. Unless you have a nut allergy or sensitive skin. It is recommended to do a patch test before commencing use.
DOES THE PRODUCT CONTAIN NUTS?
Yes. Macadamia oil from the nut. If you have nut allergies please seek advice from your GP before using this product. If any irritation occurs, stop using immediately. It is recommended to do a patch test before commencing use.
HOW FREQUENTLY SHOULD I APPLY THE OIL?
Once a day is adequate however, if you have very dry or neglected toenails then it can be applied up to three times a day.
WHEN SHOULD I APPLY THE OIL?
Morning or evening is fine. Just add it into your routine. I always advise to put the product by your tooth brush and applied it to your toes at the same time you brush your teeth.
The oil is most efficient if it's applied before your nails have contact with water as the oil will be absorbed before the water and have a longer lasting, more positive effect on the durability of your nails.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I CUT MY TOENAILS?
Toe nail growth varies from person to person and age to age. Young children may require weekly toe nail cutting where mature adults may only require 8 weekly cutting. It is also a personal preference on how long or short you prefer your nails. You should never cut your nails too short though.
CAN I USE IT ON FUNGAL NAIL?
Yes you can. It will not treat the fungus directly as it only has mild, natural anti fungal properties but it will assist in helping to fight the infection by increasing health to your naturals nails.
HOW DO I APPLY IT?
Use the droplet applicator which comes with the product to drop a small amount of oil at the top of your nail. Massage the oil into the nail and cuticle.
